Kicking myself for not taking more pictures the food was absolutely amazing the waitress Kaycee was fantastic very knowledgeable of the food and the area! We will definitely be back for more!!! We started with an Aviation cocktail from the menu and a rum and coke, both mixed in perfect proportion! For starters we had the Burrata and focaccia they blew us away! The focaccia was soft and light and had the most perfect crunch to the exterior. I butchered the names of the food but the Orecchiette (pictured below) was hands down the best Italian food I've found in south Florida. The sausage gave just a hint of spice. Perfection!!! My GF had the Tagliatelle, she has eaten in many Italian restaurants around the world and this ranked as her number one favorite pasta meal of all time. If I could give this place 10 stars I would.. thank you to the wonderful team over at Carmela's for a wonderful date night experience 🤗

Love love loved Carmela's! My friend and I popped in to check out this local gem and were fortunate to find two seats at the bar on a Saturday night. The bartenders were very welcoming and guided us through the menu with their suggestions. We started with the Arincini and the Italian chopped salad which was as delightful, I particularly enjoyed the lemon vinaigrette on the salad and the crisp on the arincini. We split the casarecce and it was to die for. So fresh and super yummy. We finished with the chocolate pistachio cake which was so light and not super sweet. The music was great and the place is very unsuspecting but it was great and I will definitely be back!

Food was delicious! Our friend came here a few years ago and wanted to return. What a great suggestion. Our server Daniella was awesome. Ate what she recommended. All were good choices. We shared it 3 ways and it was enough. We ordered the Rosemary & Sea Salt Foccacia. Then we had the Italian Chopped Salad. Then the Calamari. Then together the Oricchiette and Snapper Piccata. They all tasted wonderful and were filling. For a cocktail, I ordered a Toasted Almond. Love the stem wear that they brought it out in. It kept in nice and chilled. Would love to return next time.

TOURIST TRAP ""BEWARE"" Out of thousands of restaurants ive never been charged to add a source of protein on my pasta. I asked why and manager basically told me all pastas are basically just noodles. 27 dollars entree just noodles? Then 15 dollars for 3 shrimps on it? Also an Alfredo pasta . 10 dollars for the chicken? . This is a trap. Out of hundreds of Italian restaurants ive never seen pasta with only noodles. Their menu does not warn about this either. Neither did the server. Drink were awful too. Ordered a sangria. Had to switch to a negroni. Negroni was still awful. Food was also 6/10 . Avoid like the plague. Much much better restaurants out there for this price. Will never be back

Beautiful atmosphere, great drinks, awesome service in a very quaint and cozy environment. This is the second time we go here but this time I was a bit disappointed at a few things; the menu is overly complicated, looks like it belongs in a much more upscale environment. The presentation leaves a lot to desire, very plain looking without any imagination. We ordered two appetizers calamari, which came with a rich Pomodoro sauce, and burrata with cherry tomatoes and balsamic vinegar. Both were very delicious although on the small side. My ribeye steak was well cooked with a spicy rub, but for $70 i would like to see some type of side dish. Instead I was offered the garlic sauteed spinach for half price. The Shrimp scampi pasta was lacking sauce and the chicken parmesan was very basic on a small plate without any pasta to accompany. The eggplant Parmesan was very nice, again. Small for an entree looked more like an appetizer. Convenient self parking behind the restaurant for only $6. We did get a free dessert since it was a birthday celebration . Overall a good experience, but for the price and the presentation, there are many other options.
